Tagging someone in a Facebook post is a feature that is helpful and fun. But if used irresponsibly, it shows the immaturity and desperation of the tagger.
Recently, a Facebook page bearing the name Kabataang Iglesia ni Cristo, kept on tagging us and almost anyone to its posts.
The person behind the Facebook page is hiding from the said account, thus most of the tagged people were caught surprised. This is also annoying as each activity in each post will give the tagged accounts notifications that they don’t even want.
Facebook has features and mechanisms to stop irresponsible activities like these at least on your own wall and account. The steps below will help you how to accomplish this.
Step 1: Once logged in, click Home. At the bottom right of your cover photo, click the 3 dots and then Timeline Settings.
Step 2: Click Blocking on the left sidebar.
Step 3: In the Block Users textbox, type the Facebook page name or personal account that you wanted to block.
Step 4: Click the Block button. This will give names that are similar to the page or account you are looking for.
Step 5: Click Block to each account as you wish.
Step 6: The next window is a confirmation. Click Block with style and satisfaction. 🙂
All blocked accounts will be listed in the Block Users section telling you that the process is successful.
That’s all! Enjoy your day! 🙂
If this helped you or you know someone being tagged irresponsibly you can freely share this article to them.
